Guided by the enduring wisdom of her grandmother, Doña Irma Acosta—a 91-year-old community leader whose strength shapes everyone around her—Cecilia Quan carries her family’s coffee legacy with unwavering passion and devotion. Though first trained as a pharmacist, Cecilia’s journey led her far beyond the walls of a laboratory. After spending time in the United States strengthening her English and broadening her horizons, she returned home to Honduras with a calling: to honor her family’s land and elevate the craft passed down through generations.

Alongside her husband, Cecilia farms with deep commitment to sustainability, nurturing the land with organic methods and responsible water practices. Their approach is grounded in respect—respect for the environment, for their community, and for the future they’re building together.

At Golden Bush Coffee, we’ve had the honor of working with Cecilia for two years now, and each season reminds us why we chose to stand behind her work. Her dedication is not just visible—it’s felt. It lives in every cherry she harvests, every decision she makes, and every cup her farm produces.

From the vibrant terroir of Finca Deborah, this naturally processed Parainema embodies her care and conviction. Expect gentle layers of honeydew melon, the nostalgic sweetness of fruitcake, and bright sweet citrus dancing in harmony.

Light to medium bodied with a silky mouthfeel, this coffee feels warm, sincere, and full of purpose—much like Cecilia herself. It’s a cup shaped by passion, commitment, and a partnership we’re grateful to continue year after year.
